The Lung Flute^® is an effective, hand-held, single-patient medical device that supplements the patient’s natural mucus clearing system.

Diagnostic application

The Diagnostic Lung Flute^® has received FDA 510(k) clearance for both therapeutic and diagnostic use.

Demonstrated safety, efficacy and equivalence to Hypertonic Saline Solution method in Clinical Study.

Therapeutic application

Clinical trial completed and FDA application filed in June 2009. The Company announced on January 25th, 2010 the receipt of FDA clearance for therapeutic use and are currently taking orders.

• Patent Protection: US (US#6,702,769 and 6,984,214), EU, China (granted), Japan (granted), India & Canada.
• "Lung Flute" is a registered trademark of Medical Acoustics (Reg. #2,830,865), and filed under Madrid Protocol.
• US FDA 510(k) Clearance obtained June 23, 2006 for the Diagnostic Lung Flute.

Commercial Production of both the Diagnostic Lung Flute^®  & the Therapeutic Lung Flute^®  have commenced.
